Hailing from the vibrant landscape of Louisiana, Alana's journey began with a deep-rooted belief in the power of education and entrepreneurship. She embarked on her academic pursuits at Texas Southern University, where she earned her B.A. in Social Work, recognizing early on the transformative potential of business to effect positive change. Fueling her ambition, Alana furthered her studies, attaining her Master's in Business Administration from American International University in 2003, solidifying her foundation for future endeavors. Throughout her career, Alana has emerged as a formidable force in the entrepreneurial realm, leveraging her wealth of experience and expertise to guide countless individuals on the path to success. With a profound understanding of the intricacies of business, she has played an instrumental role in nurturing budding entrepreneurs, empowering them to realize their aspirations and achieve remarkable growth. Beyond her formidable achievements in business, Alana's altruistic endeavors have extended to championing causes close to her heart. In 2014, she assumed the role of National Club Director for Pretty Brown Girls, a global organization dedicated to fostering empowerment and self-acceptance among Black and Brown girls, igniting positive change on a societal level. In her most recent venture, Alana has collaborated as a contributing author alongside visionary Dr. Shana D Lewis in Amazon's Best-Selling Anthology, "When Destiny Needs an Intervention." Through this poignant collection of narratives, Alana and her esteemed peers share stories of resilience, fortitude, and triumph, inspiring readers to overcome life's obstacles with unwavering resolve. Donovan Aikens, a native Texan born and raised in Houston, embodies the spirit of dedication and excellence in everything he does. From his early years at George Ranch High School in Fort Bend County, where he excelled in both academics and athletics, to his collegiate journey at the University of Houston, Donovan has always been a standout performer. Graduating in the top 15% of his class with a double major in History and Economics, Donovan's academic prowess was evident from the start. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Donovan persevered and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree amidst the uncertainty of the times. In 2022, Donovan made the pivotal decision to join his family's company, Aikens Army Security Consultants. With a keen eye for opportunity and a passion for the family business, Donovan quickly became instrumental in procuring contracts and overseeing general operations. Today, he leads the recruitment division with a focus on fostering partnerships and subcontracting opportunities, particularly within the government procurement space. Donovan's unique blend of academic achievement and hands-on experience positions him as the ideal candidate for recruitment. He recognizes the importance of recruiting individuals who embody not only brute strength and agility but also intellectual acumen – qualities essential for successfully serving the company's diverse clientele. Outside of his role at Aikens Army, Donovan remains deeply engaged in the academic community. Donald Aikens

Donald Andrew Aikens is a seasoned security industry professional with a distinguished career that spans over three decades, marked by a commitment to excellence, leadership, and a profound dedication to ensuring the safety and security of individuals and communities. As the founder and visionary behind Aikens Army Security Consultants and Academy, he has cultivated an organization known for its unwavering dedication to providing top-tier security solutions. Education and Military Service: Donald's journey in service and protection began after graduating from Jack Yates High School, where he displayed early determination and discipline. In 1986, he joined the esteemed ranks of the United States Naval forces, embarking on a decade-long commitment as a Gas Turbine Technician. His military service was characterized by an unyielding sense of duty, culminating in an honorable discharge in 1996. Building on his military foundation, Donald pursued higher education at the University of Houston Downtown, earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice upon completion of the police academy. This academic achievement marked the transition from military service to a career dedicated to upholding law and order. Law Enforcement and Specialized Training: Donald's law enforcement career took shape at the Constable PD Harris County Precinct 7 from 1994 to 2000. During this tenure, he honed his skills in specialized training, focusing notably on drugs and narcotics detection. This expertise laid the groundwork for his future endeavors in security management and disaster response. Security Leadership and Disaster Response: Donald's leadership qualities became evident as he spearheaded security contracts with State Farm's Catastrophic and Major Disaster Team. Overseeing security operations across six locations, he played a pivotal role in securing clients and properties from institutions to churches and parking lots during major storms. His strategic approach aimed to prevent looting, theft, and further damage, showcasing his commitment to safeguarding people and assets in challenging circumstances. Entrepreneurship and Business Success: In 1996, Donald established his first company, Prominence Security Agency Inc, later founding Prominence Security Academy in 1998. Over the years, the organization evolved and underwent internal restructuring, emerging as Aikens Army Security Consultants and Academy. Under Donald's leadership, the company has provided a wide array of security services with a focus on commercial, educational, and construction sites. Diversity and Partnerships: Recognizing the evolving nature of security threats, Donald has forged partnerships, including those with Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These collaborations position Aikens Army Security Consultants at the forefront of addressing diverse challenges, from cybersecurity to combating human trafficking. Ongoing Commitment to Excellence: Donald's commitment to excellence is further underscored by his dedication to continuous learning. He undergoes annual training and certifications, staying ahead of emerging threats and adapting to the evolving strategies employed by criminals. Recognition and Community Engagement: In 2022, Texas Southern University awarded Aikens Army Security Consultants one of its most significant educational contracts, reflecting both the company's reputation for excellence and Donald's personal connection to the community. As a resident of the third ward area, this accomplishment holds deep personal significance. Additionally, Donald is an integral part of the Primeway Federal Credit Union Security Task Force, contributing his expertise to ensure the safety and security of its members.
